As the co-founder of Connections Academy, a ground-breaking online school provider that serves more than 110,000 K-12 students around the world Mickey shares our enthusiasm towards identifying attentional profiles of learners in order to build better personal learning plans and enhance social-emotional learning.

Prior to her retirement at the end of 2022, Mickey’s work focused on bringing high-quality virtual schooling opportunities such as Harrow School Online and Pearson Online Academy to learners around the globe. She also helped launch the E-rate to wire every American school to the Internet, and was ed tech editor at Scholastic.
We are certain that her vast experience and knowledge in edtech and virtual schools will help us achieve a great product market fit with MOXO Profiler and better address the special needs of virtual and hybrid school operators.
Mickey is Board Chair of Brooklyn Lab Charter School, Yellow Arrow Publishing, and Barbara J Dreyer Cares Foundation. She holds a BA from Yale, an MBA from NYU, and an MFA from Bennington.
